Overview

Winter is a time of relative sparsity when it comes to flowers, however that doesn’t mean that floral displays for the Christmas table need to include imported, out-of-season flowers from overseas.

Led by designer Sean A. Pritchard, this workshop encourages participants to look at our own gardens and the landscape around us when creating festive floral displays for the home.

Using seasonal, local materials, participants will create a floral centrepiece under the guidance of Sean, which can either be taken away in one piece or dismantled to be reassembled at home.

The session includes all floral materials, a vessel to create the display in and a flower frog.

This workshop features a practical component; we encourage guests to dress in clothing suitable for creative work.

Events at the Atmosfloric Emporium take place in the Gallery, a dedicated space for ideas and discovery. Please note, the bathroom is located on a lower level and accessible only by stairs, which may limit access for some attendees.

Sean A. Pritchard is a multi‑disciplinary designer and author based between London and Somerset. Working across gardens, flowers, interiors and visual communication, his practice explores the dialogue between the natural world and contemporary culture.

Prior to establishing his studio, Sean trained in garden design — graduating with Distinction from The Garden Design School, Bristol — and spent over a decade in magazine publishing at Country Life and Wallpaper.*

He is the author of Outside In and Atmosfloric, published internationally by Mitchell Beazley, which together examine his long‑standing fascination with the relationships between colour, flowers and interior spaces. In 2025 and 2026, Sean designed the ODD Pavilion at RHS Chelsea, and in 2022 created the Macmillan Cancer Research Legacy Garden at RHS Hampton Court.

In the winter of 2026, Sean opened the Atmosfloric Emporium on Great Portland Street in central London — a seasonal retail and events concept bringing together makers, artists and brands from around the world.
