Time 18:30
Length 1.5 hours

Overview

Join an evening with photographer AdeY, a fine art photographer specialising in the nude human form. With both humour and tenderness, his work highlight’s our right to be different in terms of body type, gender, sexuality, religion, and skin tone.

In conversation with Sean A. Pritchard, AdeY will discuss his career, his works on show at the Atmosfloric Emporium and the themes behind his new book JOY.

JOY: Since becoming a father, AdeY has sought a new direction to his work – one that encapsulates his sense of joy. The book continues to showcase AdeY’s classic imagery of movement, dance and the human body, but in JOY, he has also sought to capture a celebration of life, his family and of living.

The evening begins at 18:30 with a drinks reception. The talk starts at 19:00 and concludes at 20:00.

Organised in partnership with BOYS! BOYS! BOYS! Gallery Café.

Events at the Atmosfloric Emporium take place in the Gallery, a dedicated space for ideas and discovery. Please note, the bathroom is located on a lower level and accessible only by stairs, which may limit access for some attendees.

AdeY is a fine art photographer and performance artist whose work delves into the vulnerability, intimacy, and raw beauty of the human form. Specialising in nude photography, AdeY captures moments of quiet tension and emotional resonance, weaving physicality and storytelling to reveal the unspoken narratives within the body.

AdeY has exhibited extensively across the globe at prestigious venues such as Fotografiska (Stockholm, Sweden), CLAMP (New York, USA), Galerie XII (Los Angeles, USA), Chaussee 36 (Berlin, Germany), The Little Black Gallery (London, UK), The Finnish Museum of Photography (Helsinki, Finland), Fotogalleri Vasli Souza (Oslo, Norway), Falsterbo Photo Art Museum (Sweden), Paris Photo (France), and Unseen (Amsterdam, Netherlands).

His critically acclaimed photobook, UNCENSORED, first published to coincide with his debut U.S. show at Galerie XII (2021–2022), quickly sold out. The touring exhibition and the book's second edition were launched in London with The Little Black Gallery to coincide with Photo London, followed by highly successful exhibitions in NYC and Berlin later that year.

Sean A. Pritchard is a multi‑disciplinary designer and author based between London and Somerset. Working across gardens, flowers, interiors and visual communication, his practice explores the dialogue between the natural world and contemporary culture.

Prior to establishing his studio, Sean trained in garden design — graduating with Distinction from The Garden Design School, Bristol — and spent over a decade in magazine publishing at Country Life and Wallpaper.*

He is the author of Outside In and Atmosfloric, published internationally by Mitchell Beazley, which together examine his long‑standing fascination with the relationships between colour, flowers and interior spaces. In 2025 and 2026, Sean designed the ODD Pavilion at RHS Chelsea, and in 2022 created the Macmillan Cancer Research Legacy Garden at RHS Hampton Court.

In the winter of 2026, Sean opened the Atmosfloric Emporium on Great Portland Street in central London — a seasonal retail and events concept bringing together makers, artists and brands from around the world.
