Colour Salon with Molly Mahon
Overview
Colour can transform a room but knowing where to start can feel surprisingly daunting.
Join designer and printmaker Molly Mahon for an intimate 2.5-hour salon session exploring how to be more confident, instinctive and fearless with colour. Rather than following rules, Molly will share her own approach to colour, pattern and interiors: how she combines unexpected shades, builds a palette, uses pattern without fear and creates rooms that feel layered, personal and full of life.
Together, participants will explore colour through moodboarding, using a selection of Molly Mahon fabrics, patterns and imagery to create their own colour story. There will be plenty of conversation, experimentation and, importantly, permission to make some slightly unexpected choices.
Each guest will create their own moodboard and will be able to select a collection of Molly Mahon fabric swatches to take home in a Molly Mahon tote, ready to inspire your next decorating project.
This workshop features a practical component; we encourage guests to dress in clothing suitable for creative work.
Events at the Atmosfloric Emporium take place in the Gallery, a dedicated space for ideas and discovery. Please note, the bathroom is located on a lower level and accessible only by stairs, which may limit access for some attendees.
Molly Mahon is a British printmaker and textile designer who is passionate about colour, pattern and the art of creating characterful interiors. Her work combines traditional Indian block printing with a distinctly modern English aesthetic.
